Action Exercise
What improvements could you make in your products to make them more attractive and salable? How could you alter or improve your sales, marketing strategies, and processes to increase your sales? How could you improve your customer service operations to make your business more client-friendly?

Thank you!

Happy Thanksgiving

Interesting idea of vacation.

Though yesterday between calls I did go to a parent teacher conference; usually Yachiyo has to do all those things on her own.

I went on the road this morning, but I did come back early.

Several phone calls came in for quotes and help… Handled those.

I did have time to take my daughter, Amy, to school and I’ll pick her up after (she doesn’t get out till 4pm) so that gives me time to do some computer work. Then I’ll take her to her Japanese Traditional Dance class.

I should still have time and energy for tai chi class this evening too. Since I’ve missed 1/2 of them in the last couple months while I worked out of town, etc, it will be nice to fit one in.

I guess that’s a vacation, or at least as much as a rep can expect.

Vacation Day

November 24, 2009

Pretty light work day since I didn’t go on the road. a few phone calls; a couple from customers and a couple of manufactures. Phone tag with one, so I’ll call back again tomorrow.

November 23, 2009

Well, I haven’t had more than a 1/2 day off yet this year; so, I’ve decided with Thanksgiving splitting up the week anyhow to take some time off. We’ll see how much as the week progresses.

Eating the Elephant
By Brian Tracy

You have heard the question, “How do you eat an elephant?” The answer is, “one bite at a time.” This metaphor applies to achieving any big goal, as well. How do you achieve a huge goal? You accomplish it one step, one task, one measure at a time.

Your ability to work single-mindedly on your most important task will contribute as much to your success as any other discipline you can develop.
